The Udaya Resorts
We booked the Udaya by the recommendation of a friend, and we bad a great stay. They offer complimentary breakfast, which you can arrange to have brought to your room. They also provide a hotel shuttle that goes to Ubud Center every hour or so during the day.

Kaveri Spa at the Udaya
Not the world's best massage or afternoon tea (also not the worst), but still a pretty indulgent experience that is worth doing as a break in Bali. The flower bath arrangement is gorgeous, and the private rooms have a great view of the greenery. All the staff and masseuses provided top notch service.

Naughty Nuri's
We got the ribs, garlic bread and rice (and a Bintang and iced tea for drinks). They conveniently have a variety of condiments set up at each table. Note that the bbq sauce provided at the table is spicy, which I realized only after dousing it all over my food. The bbq sauce is good, but to be used moderately.

Batubara Wood Fire
Steakhouse that uses a wood fired grill. You will probably have had better steak elsewhere, but Batubara still provides a decent meal if you are not in the mood for Balinese. Ambience is also great.

Negari Luwak Coffee
Negari is a show garden hosted out of a traditional Balinese home. A personal guide greets you and walks you through the garden as they explain Negari's coffee production process. They also offer a complimentary coffee and tea tasting. Note that the luwak kopi is not part of the tasting.

Warung Ramayana
Mark Wiens brought us here. Food was okay, but the view of the beach was great. Order from the set menu as it is cost-friendlier than ordering items a la carte. I also ordered this Tehbotol Ice Tea wherever available.

Imadji
Popped in here for an ice coffee as a much needed respite after walking along Jimbaran beach. Seems to be a hip cafe patronized by young, cool kids.

Padangbai Scuba Diving
Padangbai offers awesome dive sites. The water is warm with so much to see, including corals, turtles and sting rays. We did our dive courses with Bali Scuba Masters, which we highly recommend. They offer lunch, insurance, boat ride and towels as part of the total cost of a course.
Tanah Lot
Tanah Lot is a Hindu temple located on a rocky island. To access the island you'll have to wade through water, so dress accordingly. Once you make it across, you'll be offered blessings in exchange for a donation. The Tanah Lot Market is right outside the temple entrance, if interested in shopping.
