Alice Cheongdam
Alice Cheongdam is a very cool speakeasy lounge with an Alice in Wonderland theme. It has made Asia's 50 Best Bars list multiple times. There is English-speaking staff. Also really fun to watch the bartenders make the cocktails.

Born & Bred
Born and Bred provides an incredible hanwoo omakase experience. They also offer a more casual dining experience on a separate floor of the restaurant, where you can order items a la carte.

Cheong Su Dang Gallery
One of my favorite cafes in Seoul in terms of ambience. I also like their souffle and fromage cakes. There is another Cheong Su Dang in Ik-seon Dong, which is probably the one most featured on social media, and yet another in Yeonnam-dong (near Hongdae).

Bongpiyang
A 2023 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Restaurant, Bongpiyang serves really good pork kalbi and is well known for their Pyeongyang buckwheat noodles (Pyeongyang mul naeng-myeon), which I really enjoyed as well. The service was pretty good too.

Dad's Lamb Restaurant
Really great restaurant specializing in lamb. The lamb was not gamey at all. They also have lamb yuk gae jang, which I haven't seen anywhere else. One of the best meals I had in Korea - highly recommend.

Jin Jin
A 2024 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand Restaurant, Jin Jin specializes in authentic Chinese cuisine. Everything we ordered, especially the menbosha, was good. Highly advisable to make reservations.

Namhae Sikdang
Namhae Sikdang is one of the several kalguksu stalls that make up Namdaemun Kalguksu Alley. You can get a combo of the Bibimbap + Kalguksu + Bibim Naengmyeon off the set menu. I thought the kalguksu here was better than Gohyang Kalguksu at Gwangjang Market. Read more about it here

Gohyang Kalguksu
The infamous kalguksu stall featured on Netflix's Street Food Asia. We really enjoyed the mul-naengmyeon. But, in terms of the kalguksu, we prefer the kalguksu from Namhae Sikdang in Namdaemun. Read more about it here

Myeongdong Kyoja Branch
Myeongdong Kyoja has been a Michelin Bib Gourmand for multiple years and is probably one of the most popular kalguksu restaurants in Seoul. The kalguksu here is good, but personally, I think the Namhae kalguksu is better.

Noryangjin Fish Market
We got our seafood from 땅끝마을 (which is in stalls 109 and 110 on the ground floor) and had our food prepared at 하늘채별관 upstairs, which is where we also dined.

% Arabica (Starfield Library)
This is Arabica's 125th location and conveniently located within Starfield Library, although both the cafe and library will usually be busy and packed with tourists. Got the Kyoto latte and % Arabica Blend coffee beans (at a Level 3 roast level).

Jamsil Baseball Stadium
Koreans love baseball, and the fan culture alone makes attending a game entertaining. You can also bring in outside food; we picked up Pao Pao dumplings on our way to the stadium. At the stadium, we got the One Shot Chicken (fried chicken and fries atop a beer). Read more about it here.
